I went to the Weber County Fair to see my first demolition derby. Unfortunately, the derby sells out a week in advance. Fortunately, some guy gave us free tickets to go into the fair.
It turned out pretty well. I liked petting the animals. I also got an exclusive interview with the little girl who raised the blue ribbon goat named Libby. Libby had two pengoats (roommates). The child told me about them too. Apparently, goat raising is a family affair. The goat lounging in the back of the pen (avoiding the mainstream on-lookers) was named Annie. I told the girl that was quite a coincidence because I have a sister Anne named Goat. She just nodded in approval and didn't even crack a smile. It was funny because it's true. I liked the goats the most.
I have only minor regrets about the evening. They include things like: the crippled smallest horse in the world, the bird show, the bird show host, carnies, and not having previously involved myself in the social atmospheres livestock people have to offer.

You're so cute! I'm glad your outing wasn't all for nothing. :) Hope you're doing good, I miss ya!!
That goat is like a sister to you.
Did you eat anything yummy? I can't wait for the state fair! Funnel cakes, corn dogs, cotton candy... yummo.
I'm sorry you didn't make it into the derby. Someday, Joey. Someday.
