Halloween 2017

This year we got to go to a couple of fun trunk or treats in our new town of Plain City. The ward put on a fun night where we saw the headless horseman and Noah got his face painted. One of the young men also played Abbi a special song on the piano in the primary room :)

Earlier in the day, I was determined to walk and walk to get the baby coming so I planned a full day. I started at Noah's school parade which was very festive! Then, I headed to Deweyville to see my cows. I ate an order of cheese bread at Pizza Plus before heading home for a nap.

I took the side-view picture for my sisters. I heard it's fashionable to tuck in your shirt these days.

Halloween night, we went to a fun trunk or treat the bible church puts on at the park. Noah was most excited for the can of Pepsi he got at one of the cars. Jake and I walked around the neighborhood with Noah while Abbi manned our door for trick or treaters.

It was kind of a different Halloween for us but I think we all got plenty of goodies!

Noah's Baptism

Two months after his birthday, Noah finally was baptized. With moving and a new ward, he wanted to wait until he was with his new primary and friends. He was the only kid in our ward getting baptized in October so he was able to choose the program himself.

Grandma Hansen and Aunt Anne said the prayers. Aunt Wendy led the music and Mom Joey played the piano. Abbi gave a talk on the Holy Ghost and Marlie gave a talk on baptism. Mom Joey did a spotlight about Noah. Brother Rowley, from the bishopric, gave some great remarks about choosing the right and always moving forward. Dad baptized Noah with Grandpa Hansen and Grandpa Nelson as the witnesses and then Dad confirmed Noah a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Lots of people came to support Noah, including his two great grandmas, on his special day and we are so grateful for all of them! The Relief Society room was packed.

After the baptism, Noah planned a delicious meal for everyone in our backyard. We had pulled pork sandwiches, cookies, brownies, chips, and homemade root beer.

We are so proud of Noah and his decision to be baptized. He has taken the decision very seriously and tried hard to remember why he was baptized and how to choose the right.

Friends Baby Shower

Tammy and Kayli threw me the cutest baby shower! It was so fun! I was surprised by how many friends came and am so grateful for their generosity. I'm pretty sure we don't have to buy any baby stuff for a long time.

The decorations were cute pumpkins and Kayli made some delicious pumpkin squares. I think I ate a half dozen of them. The guests made onesies and wrote messages on diapers to make us laugh in the night time.

Mom and Dad did a little decorating before the shower, too! They're pretty funny!

It's a GHOUL!
