The ad for my piano was posted for a good 48 hours. Sweet deal, right?

Indeed it was....until the guy who bought it tried to move it with only his wife. They drug it across my kitchen floor. The linoleum didn't take it well. I have to replace my kitchen floor.
Please submit all your flooring ideas.

How about shag carpet? Because honestly, who doesn't love a carpeted kitchen?

Maybe you could have someone put in tile? But that might be expensive, I'm not really sure.

I want to see a picture of the damage....

Oh my...that's no good! I am a tile lover. Shaun has done quite a few jobs at our house and my moms kitchen now. Have you decided on anything yet?

How come you decided to sell your piano? I'd have been so upset about my floor! We have Pergo flooring in my kitchen. I love it, other than the fact it gets slippery. Haddie falls a LOT, poor girl. As Kell said, I love tile as well. We're aiming to tile our 3 bathrooms soon.

just put a REALLY big rug down. it'd probably be cheaper than tile or shag anyways! at least it's a temporary fix till you have extra money to tile which i also love

I think tile looks good, and I bet there are people who can help you. If you are looking for something rugged and creative maybe you should go with stamped concrete. Layton Const. once made stamped concrete at the zoo with elephant footprints. Or maybe you could paint a chalkboard floor, and write notes and arrows to yourself on the floor.
