Jake and the kids made a Snickers and Nerds costume for Halloween

I got a jury summons in the mail on my birthday. I was called in for selection. It was a murder trial over a drug deal in Riverdale. I was excused from the jury due to my relationship with Riverdale City Police.

I put this on at work (which I usually would NEVER do) but I had seen a video of a mom wearing one alone in her car, laughing so hard at herself. It is hilarious! I was laughing so hard while I had it on. The associates couldn't believe I was being so silly. If I ever see one at the store, I'm buying it.

We took the dogs to a new vet to have their nails trimmed. It was horrible. The tech didn't know what she was doing at hurt both of them. It was a bloody mess. The vet sent some treats and a gift card in the mail to apologize. The dogs ate the treats but we didn't ever go back there.

Kids made me lunch for work.

From my 2016 Mason Jar Journal:

I went to a craft night with Alleson at Staci Cragun Potter's house

Noah's teeth are coming out one after another.

We wanted to see what Hugo and Daisy would look like with eyebrows. It did not disappoint!

Dad and Mom on a little vacation while the Ogden Temple is closed for cleaning.

Noah has to read his poem to 10 different people. Chickens = 1 People

Breakfast in bed from the kids.

Mom and I shopping for Dad's birthday.

I think we bought the old man one to scare him with like we used to do to Grandpa Hansen.

Jake got me pretty flowers just for fun.

From my 2016 Mason Jar Journal:

Sister Lewis passed away in August; two weeks later, Brother Lewis passed away.
I got to see kangaroos and joeys in pouches at the Weber County Fair.
Noah and Jake went on a rock-hounding camping adventure looking for gems for Noah's 7th birthday. They loved eating bubbles and squeak for dinner.
8.18.16 - President Dieter F. Uchtdorf confirmed the priesthood of a sealer on Dad; Mom and Dad met with him in his office in the Church Administration Building.
Noah started 2nd grade with Mrs. Powell and Abbi started 6th grade with Mrs. Lewis.

Mom, Dad, Joey, Abbi, Elizabeth, and Henrik went to the Weber County Fair. They had Australian animals. Elizabeth and Abbi road a pony and Henrik liked the little farm animal babies.
